Here are some pictures of ANG and AFRES F-16As I shot being received into the Aircraft Maintenance and Regeneration Center (AMARC) at Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ.

The early 1990s were a period of great transition for the USAF as well as the Air National Guard (ANG) and Air Force Reserve (AFRES) units.

A lot of older fighters were being retired to make way for the newer F-16 blocks as well as the F-15Es in the ADAF and Guard/ Reserve units.

Enjoy this look back 20 years ago...

You have the subject that I am most fascinated with, as I has just gotten into photography in the mid 80s. I worked at Lockheed ga. 84-88, and spent lots of time hanging out off the end of the runway at Dobbins from the early 80s into the 90s. I'll be here quite a bit.
