F-14A-100-GR, 160660 of the VF-111 "Sundowner's" sits in the sun at their home base of NAS Miramar in October 1985.

Assigned to CVW-15 aboard the USS Carl Vinson, they were home based at Miramar while the ship is in port.

I love the full colour Sundowners livery! I think the shark tooth nose art looks great on the Tomcat, and makes her look really fierce and dangerous. :)
