F-18B-17-MC, 162836 assigned to VMFAT-101 (Marine Fighter Attack Training Squadron One-oh-One), MCCRTG-10 (Marine Corps Replacement Training Group Ten), based at MCAS El Toro and seen transient at Luke AFB on 02 May 1992.
Since it was important (to me at least!) to document the Bureau Number (BuNo) of the jets, we had to shoot F-18s from the direct side, or from 3/4 rear since the drooped flaps would block the view of the BuNo! Sometimes one would get luck and be able to shoot the jet before the flaps sagged [link] but it was not common!
Nice collection of photo's F16CrewChief!
