Randolph 'Jayhawk'

T-1A 92-0339 assigned to the 99 FTS (Flying Training Squadron), 12 FTW based at Randolph AFB sits on the ramp at Luke AFB.

The T-1 is used to train pilots that will be heading to large multi-engine acft for their assigned aircraft. After completing the T-37 primary flying training, they graduate to the T-1 program.

The T-1A is built by Beechcraft in Wichita KS, Hence the "Jayhawk" nickname. It is a license built Mitsubishi Diamond Bizjet with USAF upgrades.
