Flight Suit and Computerby ~F16CrewChief

I wore this flight suit on my first F-16 ride in 1984. It now has patches from my ride in a 35 FS jet in Korea in 1995.

I got an old pair of 'speed jeans' and a scrapped parachute harness and added it to the 'bag'.

The 'wheel' service cap was issued to me in basic training.

The picture of the Thor w/ the ADC qualified patch is unique and special to me. LtCol James Labriola gave me his ADC qualified patch back in 1981. He sat as an ASAT alert officer for the 10th Aerospace Defense Sq., 9th Aerospace Defense Division Thors that were sitting in ASAT alert in the 1960's. These nuclear tipped missiles were designed to detonate a nuke in space to fry the electronics of an enemy satellite in orbit.

Thanks for posting - the flight suit makes for a great display! Says a lot more than a whole bunch of placques on where you were stationed (nearly all of mine our in a box, but I have a couple of the pictures with the signatures around the matting posted!)

I have a bunch of plaques in a box in the attic. The stuff I have hanging are one that were meaningful to me. My year at Kunsan was my beast year in the military for me.

Most awesome! I really like the display you have of the six F-16's you crewed during your career in the Air Force - a lot of hardwork goes into keeping precision multi-million dollar aircraft in top shape and every American owes a lot to the men and women of the Air Force (Navy too!) that make this happen!
