HC-130N 69-5833 assigned to the 305 ARRS, 403 RWRW, an AFRES unit based at Selfridge ANGB seen transient at Luke AFB.
It is interesting to note that this unit operated HC/H's [link] as well as the HC/N's. Note the Fulton recovery system was not installed on the "N's".

i crew chiefed hc-130h(h) 65-0971 at hill afb utah in the late 70's. it still had the fulton gear on it when i was assigned to it. 971 was used for catching corona satellite packages in the early 60s, using the fulton system. we removed the fulton equipment, the search radar and radome, and with a fresh set of -15 engines, it was the fastest herc in the fleet until the j models were rolled out.
