Description
F-5F-NO, 81-0594 of the ROKAF seen at Osan AB, ROK during an airpower display in April 1989 for some ROKAF and USFK brass.
You can really see the lengthening of the basic F-5E fuselage f16crewchief.deviantart.com/ar… for the second seat installation. You can clearly see the external longerons scabbed on to the skin of the forward fuselage to reinforce the nose structure.
Most two seat derivations of single seat fighters are the same length, there was some fuel cell area removed for the addition of the second seat. Not so w/ the F-5F!
