Description
F-111E 68-0076 assigned to the 428 FS, 27 FW, based at Cannon AFB and seen at Luke AFB.
This jet was one of the Avionics Upgrade Program (AMP) "E" models that were transferred to the F-111 training squadron at Cannon AFB when the RAF Upper Heyford based 20 FW was closed and the flag moved to Shaw AFB.
Note the Kill marks from Desert Storm on the nose of the jet while it was still an "Upper Haystack"jet!.

My father in law worked on those jets in Upper Heyford, yet another coincedence. What a small USAF world.
